Am I not the handsomest cat in the free world? Mommy bought me a new coat just so I could go outside and chase butterflies! (actually he eyeballs the jets going over too! Delusions of grandeur?)
"Monkey Mess"
I just thought I would let you know how the kitten is doing. Her official name is Monkey Mess. Helen started calling her this because of the way she jumps around all of the time and now that is what she answers to. Yesterday I turned the shower on and went to get undressed and she went in to check out the water. Well, when I pulled back the shower curtin to get in imagine my surprise when I saw Monkey Mess standing there in the shower just letting the water pour down on her. She was standing there with her whole body under the stream of water. When I opened the shower curtin she just looked at me like she was thinking, "a little privacy please!". Like I was disturbing her shower. Unbelievable! I knew she liked the water because she plays in her water fountain drinking dish and plays in the water in the sink when I am washing dishes or brushing my teeth every day. I joked about her getting into the shower with me one day but I never thought she would actually do it. Monkey Mess lives with Helen & Hugh!!! |
